The staff in the pro shop give excellent service. Would be great if you could get breakfast Monday-Friday. Kitchen staff is excellent. Can't beat this course for the price. No problem getting on. Always able to get a freindly four some.

My wife and I really enjoy playing at FSH GC. The staff is friendly and helpful. If we have golfing friends visiting with us, we take them to Fort Sam. You can't beat the price and although it is a military course (MWR), you don't have to enter the installation to get in, it is located about a mile from the Harry Wurtzbach entrance.

Fort Sam Houston Golf Course -La Loma has few bends and is more or less set up for straight shots. The par 3s are more challenging with the water having the potential to come into play. The adjoining 18-hole Salado Del Rio course at the Fort Sam Houston Golf facility is the more challenging of the two course.
